The Cantrol Air-Forced Drying Ovens are designed for fast and efficient drying of core samples after cleaning and before performing core analysis experiments such as porosity, absolute and relative permeability, and soil or rock mechanics testing. Built for laboratory precision and industrial reliability, these ovens ensure optimal drying performance with consistent temperature distribution.

Featuring forced-convection airflow driven by base-mounted fans, the Cantrol Laboratory Ovens guarantee uniform air circulation and even heat distribution throughout the chamber. This ensures rapid and reproducible drying results across all sample types.

Temperature control ranges from ambient to 230°C, precisely regulated via a digital thermoregulator for stable, accurate readings. Each oven includes a mechanical safety thermostat that automatically prevents overheating, ensuring both operator safety and equipment protection.

The oven’s double-wall construction includes 5 cm (2 in.) silica-based insulation, maintaining temperature stability and energy efficiency. Its powder-coated cold-rolled steel exterior and stainless-steel sheathed inner chamber provide superior durability and easy cleaning. The electric heating element ensures uniform heat distribution for consistent drying performance.

Calibration is simple and straightforward, maintaining temperature accuracy over extended use.
